catalyst2 - a UK web hosting provider for small and medium sized businesses has joined the WebsiteSpark program run by Microsoft. This new initiative focuses on visibility, support and software for professional Web Developers and Designers - at no upfront cost.

Meaning eligible “Web Pro’s” will have access to test and production licences for :- Windows Web Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008 Web Edition and applications such as Visual Studio® 2008 Professional Edition, Expression® Studio 3 and Expression® Web 3. This will significantly help in reducing the costs of developing and running a fully functional site on the Microsoft Platform. Web Pro’s also have access to a wide range of support, not only from the experienced catalyst2 team but also directly from Microsoft who provide two professional support incidents per program membership for break-fix issues and unlimited access to technical managed newsgroups on MSDN. There is also unlimited program support for non-technical issues and broad community support through partners and peers.
