Web hosting provider AYKsolutions (www.ayksolutions.com) announced last week it has introduced Cloud Servers, which provides high-availability, enterprise-level hosting architecture for small to medium sized businesses.
AYKsolutions’ new Cloud Servers from other traditional shared or dedicated hosting architecture, which relies on single servers to host the operating system, services, and account data.
Instead, the Cloud Servers use an integrated storage area network that centralizes data storage and provides exceptional protection against hardware-related data loss.
The SAN, powered by HP StorageWorks, is configured in both RAID 10, which both mirrors data and provides fault tolerance, as well as in RAID 5, which provides a high level of redundancy.
Built on VMware’s vSphere technology, the new Cloud Servers lets users setup highly available and fault tolerant clusters with multiple hardware nodes.
In the event that there are single node experiences failure, VMware will automatically move the affected sites to a backup node in less than one minute, reducing the possibility of any downtime.
Priced from $319 per month, Cloud Servers include Dual Intel Xeon 5506 or Dual Intel Xeon 5520 processors, cPanel, and 1 vSphere license with vCenter management panel. All Cloud Servers will be hosted in the company’s Atlanta data center facility.
“Cloud hosting is undeniably the new frontier in hosting,” says Artyom Khmelnitsky, president of AYKsolutions. “Its success is predicated on the notion that businesses will continue to place a greater emphasis on uptime, data integrity, and long-term stability. We’ve implemented our Cloud Servers with a laser focus on meeting those needs.”
AYKsolutions currently offers dedicated servers in five American cities, including Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Denver, and Miami. The company opened its 6,000 square foot Denver data center facility in March.
Monthly dedicated server plans start at $69 and feature a range of configuration options, including Nix/Windows platform choices, control panel choices, and hardware choices.
