Today SMP Info Tech announced that they were launching .COM. CO, .NET. CO and .NOM. CO domains, the official domains for Colombia. Stefan Pfeil, president of the company stated that .NET. CO is designed for online companies and service providers, .NOM. CO would be perfect for personal sites and .COM. CO is a great overall domain that can be registered by anyone to show their ties to Colombia business market and community. The stated domains are considered 3rd Level .CO Domains. Best of all anyone can register .com.co, .net.co, and .nom.co domain names on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no local presence requirement for their registration.
