HostV, a leader in managed Virtual Private Servers and Dedicated servers, announced today a major shakeup in its hosting lineup, including a tripling of bandwidth on all VPS Hosting plans and major upgrades on specifications for Dedicated Servers.
The company’s Managed VPS Servers and Linux VPS Servers now start at 1500GB of monthly bandwidth, up from just 500GB before. Earlier this year, HostV introduced Ksplice Uptrack, allowing it to update Linux servers without rebooting. Linux kernel updates are automatically converted into rebootless update packages, and HostV can simply apply the update remotely without causing a disruption or significant performance hit on the server.
